Founded in 1925, Château Bellerive has long been regarded as one of Médoc’s historic vineyards under the ownership of the Perrin family. Through continued efforts in vineyard management and expansion, the estate achieved the prestigious Crus Bourgeois classification in 1932. After four generations of family winemaking, the estate was acquired by Sophie and Christophe Gouache in 2018, ushering in a new era of innovation while maintaining the region’s traditional winemaking heritage.

Spanning just 13 hectares, the vineyards of Château Bellerive benefit from outstanding terroir. With a controlled planting density of 8,500 vines per hectare, the estate ensures the highest quality grapes for each harvest.

With its perfect blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot, followed by 12 months of oak aging, Château Bellerive delivers a rich and expressive wine, capturing the essence of Médoc.

The 2017 vintage promises to be one of the most sought-after wines of the festive season, offering a lively and youthful character. On the nose, it presents aromas of ripe blackcurrants, wild herbs, graphite, coffee, blackberries, and cocoa, delicately intertwined with a touch of black pepper spice. The moderate tannins lead to a smooth, lingering finish, making it an irresistibly well-balanced wine.
