Nestled on the gravel plateau of Saint-Estèphe, Château Laffitte Carcasset benefits from a mild climate with optimal sun exposure and refreshing breezes, offering ideal conditions for producing outstanding red wines. The hand-harvested blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (50%), Merlot (47%), and Cabernet Franc (3%) is aged for 14 months in oak barrels, 33% of which are new, achieving a perfect balance of color, aroma, and flavor.
The wine boasts a luminous pomegranate hue, unveiling fragrant notes of black raspberry, wild strawberry, and licorice, beautifully intertwined with delicate cornflower florals and a distinctive mineral touch. On the palate, this wine is rich and juicy, layered with ripe red fruit, hints of chocolate, caramel, and a touch of nutmeg, cedar, and tobacco. With a deep fruit core, abundant yet refined tannins, and an enduring finish, Château Laffitte Carcasset stands as an unmissable expression of Saint-Estèphe's Cabernet Sauvignon.
