Château Latour 2002

Château Latour is one of the most distinguished and sought-after estates in Bordeaux. Under the ownership of the François Pinault family since 1993, it has upheld a legacy of exceptional terroir and winemaking precision. Among the estate’s 90 hectares, only 47 hectares surrounding the château are dedicated to producing its Grand Vin, ensuring the highest quality standards.

With high-density vine planting of 10,000 vines per hectare, the competition among vines naturally enhances grape quality. The aging process is meticulously carried out in 100% new French oak barrels from Allier and Nièvre, ensuring remarkable complexity and structure.

The 2002 vintage is regarded as one of the estate’s standout years, showcasing Château Latour’s signature power and elegance. It reveals a deep ruby-red hue, exuding rich aromas of ripe black fruit, layered with hints of cedar, graphite, and fine oak spice. On the palate, it displays a firm structure with velvety tannins, leading to a long, profound finish, leaving a lasting impression of depth and refinement.
