Sauternes is renowned for producing some of the finest and most expensive sweet wines in the world, thanks to its unique climate and terroir. Even more distinctively, the grapes here are affected by a noble fungus known as Botrytis cinerea, which concentrates the sugars and enhances the complexity of the fruit, allowing these wines to age gracefully for centuries. Crafted entirely from 100% Sémillon grapes enveloped in this precious Botrytis, Château Romer mesmerizes with its radiant golden hue and an enchanting bouquet of honey, ripe jackfruit, mango, and peach, delicately intertwined with floral aromas, toasted brioche, citrus zest, oak, and a refreshing minerality.
