Relais du Marquis is an estate located in the heart of the Margaux wine region, produced in the communes of Margaux and Soussans. The vineyard sits on a unique terroir rich in gravel, limestone, white pebbles, and small clay deposits, offering ideal drainage, sunlight reflection, and heat retention that allow the vine roots to grow deeply. This wine is carefully selected from 35 year old vines thriving in the renowned Margaux terroir. It boasts a sharp ruby-red hue, carrying an intense complexity of flavors. Sweet ripe grapes, plums, cherries, and raspberries dominate, followed by fresh herbal notes, spicy cinnamon, and hints of bittersweet chocolate. The lingering elegance of oak and creamy caramel enriches the palate, leaving a profound, lasting impression.
