BOTT FRÈRES – A PRESTIGIOUS WINEMAKER OF ALSACE

Bott Frères, a legendary winery nestled in Alsace, is a hidden gem in one of France’s most breathtaking wine regions. Known for its cultural richness and stunning landscapes, Alsace is home to an exquisite array of white wines, celebrated for their floral aromatics and remarkable finesse.

Founded in 1835, Bott Frères has passed down its passion for winemaking through seven generations. With 20 hectares of vineyards, the estate has achieved extraordinary success, making it a true emblem of excellence in Alsace.

With winemaking expertise passed down from father to son, this esteemed estate produces high quality wines from seven grape varieties, each reflecting the distinctive character of Alsace: Sylvaner, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Muscat, Gewurztraminer, and Pinot Noir. These varietals thrive in the region’s diverse terroir, enriched by limestone, clay, and sandstone soils, contributing to the wines’ unique complexity and elegance.

Constantly striving for excellence and innovation in quality and flavor, the vineyard was converted to organic farming and received certification in 2022.

Respecting biodiversity is one of the core values of this esteemed winery, reflected in its commitment to preserving the local ecosystem. Their efforts include planting trees, building bird nests, restoring Alsace’s traditional sandstone walls, and paving vineyard trails all contributing to a sustainable and thriving environment.

What sets their wines apart is that they do not use oak barrels for aging. Instead, the wines are aged in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks, preserving their purity and enhancing their impressive aromatic expression.
